PeaceHealth is seeking a System Director Clinical Quality, Patient Access, and Program Growth for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position . The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $67.93 – $101.89. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

Directs, controls and is accountable for Clinical Quality across Home and Community Service Lines. Develops long- and short-term business strategies, operational plans and oversees implementation. Manages the design, structure, development, and planning issues within scope of direction. Responsible for quality in all Home and Community Services. Provides strategic leadership and day-to-day management for all aspects of the quality function including service line quality committees, quality plan. Serves as a trusted advisor to leaders across Home and Community, PHMG and Hospital Key Stakeholders. Works with system leaders to develop collaborative plans for Home & Community services to align and support strategic system goals. Implements a vision for the H&C intake teams which includes a culture of clinical and service excellence, continuous improvement, and compassionate care. Develops long and short-term operational plans and provides oversight and guidance for program growth through the implementation of Strategic Growth Initiatives. This role is responsible for the execution of a culture of patient centered care and clinical excellence throughout the clinical setting.

DETAILS OF THE POSITION:

  • Serves as a working partner with H&C Service Line Director and/or VP to achieve plans for financial performance, clinical quality, service excellence and patient centered priorities for each service line.

  • Provides overall leadership, strategic direction and support for creating clinical value through quality/safety improvement, patient engagement and transforming care models with a focus on lowering overall costs of care. Engages community leadership, medical directors and medical staff leadership in moving toward exceptional clinical outcomes.

  • Ensures alignment with service line/organization strategic, financial, and operational plans, and with PeaceHealth system initiatives. Leads and oversees implementation of intake initiatives congruent with annual operating plan.

  • Builds and maintains excellent working relationships with all referral sources, managers, and staff with a focus on ensuring competency, compassion, and patient centeredness.

  • Supervises or delegates supervision for all assigned caregivers. Provides with overall direction, coordination and evaluation in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.

  • Takes responsibility for quality, service and regulatory compliance for areas of responsibility.

  • Works in a collaborative, matrixed, environment to assist with the development and implementation of strategic plans, programs, and business initiatives across PeaceHealth Home and Community services. Partners with the system service line directors and VP of Home and Community to facilitate the operationalization of Strategic Growth Plans.

  • Provides knowledge, leadership, facilitation, communication, and project structure/plan to drive effective, efficient, and collaborative strategic and innovative projects within service areas.

  • Develops comprehensive plans for executing strategic projects and initiatives within home care service areas. Secures cross-functional resources to accomplish delivery of initiatives and incorporates and aligns input from

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Bachelor's Degree In health sciences, nursing or health service field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Masters degree strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of related leadership experience in an integrated healthcare system in any aspect of quality improvement, strategic program growth development or access services.

  • Experience working with flexible staffing models to include staffing volume and cross training to optimize productivity and caregiver satisfaction.

  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and counseling

  • Current licensure as Registered Nurse is required

  • Travel to agencies in AK, WA, and OR required.
